We are trying something new with the Women in Dynamics SIG. It's a book club!!

Our first book club discussion is rapidly approaching, so if you would like to join us, the book is called "How to Be An Assertive (Not Aggressive) Woman" by Jean Baer. It's an older book, but the principles are still valid. This is something that a lot of women struggle with. I expect great discussion and feedback from this group of women.

Book club meeting will be on May 18th at 12:00 pm EDT

Love this idea, but would be so much easier if the book selection was available as an e-book.  Just a thought for future choices.  :-)  Thanks for the book club idea!

I thought of that too - after we chose the book and I went to buy it! This is definitely something to keep in mind for future selections.

There are several great books for women, and there are a few on the radar for the next selection. I am really getting excited about this!

So I ordered the book and was looking forward to reading it on the plane on my way to a conference this weekend.  Here's what showed up (notice that it is marked with the correct title).  Anyone up for discussing Doomsday Rider instead?  :-)
