With the destruction caused by Hurricane Florence and Typhoon Mangkhut weighing heavily on the minds of those in the community, I wanted to make you aware of how your actions at User Group Summit Phoenix in October can help those affected by these natural disasters. According to the Rise Against Hunger
Hurricane Florence Response
As communities in Eastern North Carolina and surrounding areas begin the recovery process and brace for the impact of continued flooding, we are offering storage space in our Eastern N.C. (Kinston) and Raleigh locations to receive emergency relief supplies, including water, baby supplies and cleaning supplies. Our Raleigh location delivered 500 of those hygiene kits to the Wake County Emergency Management Center.
Typhoon Mangkhut Response
The world’s strongest typhoon this year to date, has recently devastated the Philippines, impacting more than 250,000 people. We are working with our Philippines location to dispatch emergency food supplies to those impacted. We are collaborating with Rise Against Hunger Philippines and our partner, ADRA Philippines, to distribute biscuits, powdered juice and other emergency relief supplies. Additionally, through our ongoing partnership with International Care Ministries more than 140,000 meals have been pre-positioned in the Panay region of the Philippines, which will be available for immediate distribution upon request from the local government.
Make an impact in Phoenix
All User Group Summit attendees are encouraged to assist Rise Against Hunger in giving back to those less fortunate and contribute to the goal of packaging 50,000 meals in three days. Rise Against Hunger will have a booth with an assembly line during Expo hours at User Group Summit.

While the meals User Group Summit attendees are assembling in Phoenix, may not be the actual meals that feed a hurricane victim in the Carolinas or the Phillipeans, we will be working to replenish the Rise Against Hunger meal reserves that were rightfully but critically drained to help those in need.
We are in close communication with Rise Against Hunger to understand what more we can do to support relief efforts in the Carolinas and all the other places impacted by natural disaster.
Thank you in advance for your support with our efforts to help those in need.
