Presented by the Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG), the GPUG Summit is the premier annual conference for Dynamics GP users, GPUG Partners and key Dynamics GP personnel from Microsoft. This year's Summit occurred from September 14th to the 18th (with optional training and meeting opportunities on September 14th and 15th) at the Pheasant Run Resort near Chicago, IL.
The GPUG Summit featured a wealth of information-packed Educational Sessions and Role-Based Tracks that delivered Dynamics GP knowledge and experience designed to help organizations optimize the functionality, flexibility, performance and return on investment benefit offered by Dynamics GP.
This year, Summit tracks were replaced by Focus Areas. Each Focus Area had between two and five roundtable breakout sessions. The Focus Areas included: Executive, Finance, Manufacturing, BI and Reporting, Security, Supply Chain, Technology (development, infrastructure, performance), GP 10.0 (functionality, upgrades, and data migration), and Customer Service.
In addition, the Summit provided ample opportunities for social and professional networking with other Dynamics GP users, experts, peers, partners and Microsoft product managers and specialists.
GPUG Summit 2010 occurs next year at the Renaissance Hotel in Orlando from October 25 - 29.
